You kind of described friendship on the 21 century. If i don't act happy and bubbly all the time even my long term female friends don't wanna hang out with me. I can't be sad or have a problem without my friends being bored of my "negativity."

100%. This reminds of a song I like with the lyrics "the love is fake, but the hate is real". All throughout my life people utter the word "love" and their actions scream the opposite. It's a fake disingenuous word. But hate...... "hate" always felt genuine. Like they always mean it. Super messed up that this consistent pattern was a major thing I learned from life.
