Has any other American noticed this? I don't think I've ever seen a member of a fraternity/sorority that wasn't at least a 6/10.
This is also why fraternities/Sororities are said to be good for ""networking"" it's just a way to flex how attractive you are and get in contact with other attractive people. The more attractive someone is, the more other people want to "connect" with them. Attractive people also make more money on average, so attractive contacts are considered more valuable than normal or ugly contacts/friends.
This is also why people in Greek life don't have to study as much as other students--they know they can coast on their looks despite their grades.
Also, I'm not talking about fraternity/sorority academic "clubs" that meet once a week or something, I'm talking about the fraternities/sororities with the giant multi-million dollar houses and live-in chefs. These houses and fraternities/sororities even exist at "poor" state colleges.
Find me a femcel in a house like that. Not going to happen unless she's the night maid.

I think they wouldn't even hire an ugly woman as a maid. Men are usually entitled and want good-looking service women they can use for sex in case they can't get a hot sorority girl.
Agree, agree. If they couldn't find anyone else that's the only time they would hire a femcel.
If you are attractive and extroverted, you are already set in life.
You donât even need to be that extroverted, just enough to keep your head in the game, as the door will always be open for you as long as youâre attractive. I wish I could fake being attractive like some people fake being extroverted, if only it were that simple.
I think they are disgusting ways to take money from college students. You shouldn't have to pay to find friends or join a club. Only in America. We are such a strange country.
It really is bizarre, Iâve always thought of it as foolish to join, I would rather use the money I do have on my own trajectory in life rather than toss it into a pot for the vultures to gobble up. Why would anyone even want friends they have to pay for? The fuck. Although I guess you could argue that every relationship is transactional to some degree.
Iâve never really been around any of these groups first hand but I know enough to speak on them, and I believe there are so many (within each respective university/college) that eventually you get the sort of ârejectâ sororities, there are tiers (although unspoken, everyone knows the basis for which is appearances and/or wealth) where they have all the same issues as the other groups of women: paying their way to get "friends/sisters", but without the stereotypical look and air.
Frats are another malignant entity and they seem to have a symbiotic relationship with the sororities, many of their events are co ops, there is a certain attitude that grows between them which is just plain toxic, not just to the rest of us, but to themselves, though many simply donât care enough to leave it behind, while those who canât keep up get knocked.
I would never be able to stand being in one, good looking or not, both frats and sororities are hubs of filth, where a sorority's fakeness is a poison, and the frat's "bro" culture can be deadly.
They are killers of individuality and you will become but a voice for the hoard, else you get thrown out on your ass.
I would never want to feel like I had to force a connection with people and pay for perks that will end up being more of a hassle than anything. It's like they just "decide" to be friends forever (aka connections for job opportunities), and they ignore the glaring issues within one another (until in-group fighting eventually breaks out.) Being good looking outside of these âexclusive clubsâ is more than enough to get by.
But yes, to your point, most of the ones we come to know about and the ones that pan out or lead to a connective domino effect of success, are the ones which mainly host the good looking people. The rest are often forgotten, the members who donât fit the pretty picture are also left with less to benefit from. If one of us ended up in a house like that, we would be the ones doing all the dirty work while the rest partied, we would be actively hidden in the back row by our own âsistersâ.

Damn you are so right!! God, everything is just a game of money and looks, even among attractive rich kids.
Yes they are, but I think the Stacys and Beckys who join them WANT to have that experience. They just want to be told what to do and what to wear to look hot. They want to find a tribe to accept them and then just go on autopilot. Same for Chads and Brad's. They want to exchange their personality for friends, parties, and job opportunities. That, and access to alcohol, cocaine, and Xanax too lmao.
I also think sororities and fraternities help their members cheat on tests and homework.

Welcome to +TruFemcels ! This sub is a female-only community.
TruFemcels is a safe space that caters to femcels and women who relate to them for the purpose of discussion, venting, support, and community.
A femcel or a female celibate is an adult woman who is below average in physical appearance (<4/10) or suffers a significant impediment that prevents her from securing a romantic relationship- NOT sex.
Sex is available to most (not all) women so long as it is done IN SERVICE of men. This DOES NOT resolve loneliness and is often the pretext for abusive power dynamics.
In a culture where lookism means many men feel comfortable mistreating women they use sexually but are not attracted to, many femcels rely on celibacy to protect them from the worst of casual sex culture.
The world is unkind to the unattractive women. Here, you can be brutally honest about it, seek a way OUT of femceldom, or find comfort if you're stuck. Take heart. Make yourself at home. â¤ï¸
