To ensure that sustainability is fully embedded within our operations and governance structure, NS&I has developed an ESG (Environmental and Social Governance) Strategy.
It is built around five individual pillars, each of which are aligned to specific United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs):
Our strategy will ensure that we comply with mandatory reporting requirements. It will also enable us to adopt a comprehensive approach to becoming a genuinely sustainable business, whilst working collaboratively with our suppliers to achieve this goal. Further details on our ESG strategy, including these pillars, can be found in our 2024-25 Annual Report and Accounts. From the 2024-25 financial year onwards, we no longer publish a separate Corporate Social Responsibility report. Instead, all relevant data will be published in our Annual Report and Accounts for each financial year, with estimates used (in line with Government guidance) where necessary.
