In details, the update will concern the management of the engines on the Ferraris, supported either by the V12 or the V8 engine. This latter, in its most powerful version, has still nowadays the best performance for an aspirated engine on a road vehicle. We are talking about the Ferrari 458 Speciale, its motor is a 4.5l V8 at 90° with a flat crankshaft – called flatplane – is able to unleash a max power of 605hp at 9000RPM and reach the top of its specific power at 135hp/l.
