The virus of false thinking in any form and in any era, replicates and propagates by currency of acceptance and usage. I could as easily have called it fear thinking. Pychology and ideology witness a separative sense of emotional distance from and power over that mind in division rules. Labels are not true relational qualities and can and do change with usage. I could say the virus is the unwatched mind - through which any and every kind of shadow plays out. Without our brother, our own shadow would be unforgiveable because we would never have a way of becoming aware of it. So by 'seeing' others as aliens and enemies, and fools deserving everything they get, we make ourselves strangers in a strange world - while 'outsourcing' the pain of this to 'others' in brief respite, before it comes back over and over again. I feel there is a genuine insight from the breaking of the illusion of a nice world narrative of an insulated sense of self-specialness. But it hides no less in the illusion of 'justified' hate posing self-righteously. Special hate hides in special love. Both serve self-specialness of truth denied and distorted to serve private agenda. The patterns of entanglement between us are complex - while being used as defences FOR self specialness. The manipulation of self-specialness is innate to its nature, For it is a manipulative intent in which fear and guilt operate as power over life by being given power. Where you choose to give attention and what you choose to accept true is your with-ness. Be with what you want to grow and strengthen in your world by alighting in the worthy, reversing the reversal. For the attempt to focus in error and then correct it - feeds and magnifies error as the basis from which we 'think' and perceive. Perhaps the 'script' runs to be recognized and awakened from rather than perfected in its own terms. Any attempt to change it, identifies us in character within it. Division and degradation of consciousness can be spun as some kind of victory by a tiny fragment that seems to have its moment of 'power' thereby. But the fantasy never actually delivers and, (when committed to), costs the awareness and remembrance of who we truly are. A nothingness of a seeming, that costs appreciation of Everything.
