In the new title from Cygames, you’ll venture to unfamiliar territories alongside both new and returning characters from the original entry. On your travels, you’ll need to be prepared for battle with weapons that are up to snuff. Ascension Weapons are among the best you can get, though you’ll need to put in the work to obtain them for each character. But what sets these weapons apart from the rest and how do you unlock them in Granblue Fantasy: Relink? Here’s what you need to know.
Ascension Weapons are the best weapons you can craft at the Blacksmith in the early to mid-stages of Granblue Fantasy: Relink. In terms of power, they’re second only to Terminus Weapons, which can’t be obtained until the late game. What’s more, they can be Awakened to increase their strength down the line. This allows you to level them up past Level 150 to lend your characters even greater strength.
Each character has their own Ascension Weapon, meaning you’ll need to get your hands on all of them. Here’s a rundown of each character’s weapon.
You’ll have access to Ascension Weapons at the Blacksmith once you’ve completed the Very Hard quests in Chapter Zero and moved on to Expert in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. Once you’ve managed to do this, you’ll see these weapons clearly labelled as such at the Blacksmith.
