To acquire zombie parts in Dead Island 2, players must defeat special infected zombies rather than simply hacking off limbs. However, you don’t get this ability until you reach a certain point in the story involving Gym Bros. These special zombies drop certain parts when killed as yellow pouches, so just pick them up, but it is not guaranteed to always get the part you want.
Players must target specific zombies to obtain the desired parts. Normal zombies also drop parts, but only the most common material.

Also, the Hot Spot icons do not differentiate between the different zombie types, aka Crusher or Inferno Crusher. Assume you’ll encounter all types.
Do take note, you can find all zombie types in every area of the map, but hot spots are a guaranteed spawning haven for a specific type.
