We’ve finally received the first half of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The Teal Mask launched on September 13, taking us to the land of Kitakami, where a long list of new and old Pokémon appear. The second half of the expansion, The Indigo Disk, maintains an air of mystery. However, several Pokémon have already been confirmed to appear in Part 2, including new Legendaries. In addition to newly introduced mythical and legendary Pokémon, the following classic Pokémon appear in the first installment to the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, Part 1: The Teal Mask.
While they won’t receive entries in your Kitakami Pokédex, you’ll also have an opportunity to obtain one of the three Sinnoh starters in The Teal Mask. Professor Jacq will entrust you with an egg containing a random member of the starter trio, which you can evolve and care for. This includes:
Several new Pokémon also appear in The Teal Mask. This includes a brand-new evolution for the Grass/Dragon-type Applin, as well as a handful of Mythical and Legendary Pokémon.
Part 2: The Indigo Disk is arriving a bit later than expected. When the second installment to the expansion launches next year , you’ll meet even more Pokémon from past regions.
Much is still under wraps when it comes to new Pokémon set to arrive in The Indigo Disk DLC. However, we do have information about a handful of new ‘mons arriving in the second installment to the expansion, including a new evolution for the Dragon/Steel-type Duraludon.
Eight brand-new Pokémon will appear in the Teal Mask DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
In all, a whopping 239 Pokémon have been confirmed to appear in the two-part Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC so far.
