This tutorial was made on Windows 10 , but it is tested and compatible for Windows 7 and 8 as well. If you use Windows XP or Vista please follow Windows XP – 10 OpenVPN Autoconnect Setup Tutorial .
Start by opening StrongVPN Client application. Please make sure that you selected “ Save login ” checkbox at the client application login prompt. Click “ Advanced ”.
In “ Options ” tab check “ Start when Windows starts ” option. Choose your VPN connection for the “ Connect on launch ” field.
There you can also choose protocol preference. Click “ OK ”.
Steps 3 – 5 are only required for Windows 10.
Press Win+R combination on the keyboard. (Win is the key with Windows logo on it, R is letter “R”).
In the appeared window write down “ taskschd.msc ” (without quotes). Press Enter .
Now go to the “ Task Scheduler Library ” (on the left side of the window). Find StrongVPN Client there. Right click on it, select “ Properties ”.
In “ General ” tab check “ Run with highest privileges ” option. Click “ OK ”.
Restart your computer, wait for StrongVPN Client to launch and check the VPN connects automatically.
