Pace

Pace

Tokens from the Playmaking pool needed to reach each level.

To test Pace, we had a player with 86 Ball Handle, 86 Speed with Ball and the Zach LaVine Dribble Style sprint up the court at a realistic angle 10 times per badge level. We counted the amount of frames it took the ball handler to reach the hash mark to find the median of that badge level. Then we turned those numbers into a percentage to help simplify the differences between each badge level.

Sprint Boost %: - Legend = 14%

The Best Thresholds: - Bronze vs None = 4% Sprint Boost

- Gold vs Silver = 3% Sprint Boost

- Legend vs HoF = 5% Sprint Boost

This doesn't mean to not aim for Silver or HoF in the builder for this badge due to the synergy system this year. If you're prioritizing this badge, especially for a competitive 5-on-5 point guard going against full-court pressing defenders, you could go 93 in the builder and then use a Max +1 for Legend.

Also, if you only get Gold at 6'4, you could use a Max +2 to get to Legend. Getting 88 Speed with Ball in the builder and saving your Synergy is a good idea, especially if you're already getting 86 Speed with Ball for Lightning Launch and Dribble Styles.

For the tall guard builds, we recommend saving your badge points and get Bronze. If you're running shooting guard in 5-on-5 or running as a park point guard, we wouldn't necessarily recommend a Max +1 or +2 with Synergy because you won't see as much value using your important Synergy for this small of a boost.

Lockdowns can also consider getting Bronze. Getting a steal and running the break with a 4% boost to your speed could result in more easy points.
