The Federal Historic Tax Credit has preserved more than 42,000 historic buildings and leveraged over $130 billion in private investment, mostly in low and moderate income areas. The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, a foundation created to improve quality of life through the effective use, taxation, and stewardship of land, just released The Place Database, a new online mapping project built with mapping and data expertise from PolicyMap.
