At RAC, we're committed to keeping our members updated on important changes that affect them. That's why we want to make you aware of WA Government towing regulations, which commenced on 10 January 2025.
Western Australia’s towing industry reforms , aimed at protecting motorists involved in traffic crashes, commenced in 2025.
The regulations include maximum charges for towing and storage of light vehicles and motorcycles that are towed from the scene of a crash in the Perth and Peel regions.
The charges are set by the WA Government and apply to all operators.
