1. The Demo version of the software allows a limited number of pipes to be analyzed, varying by Analysis Engine, see below.
2. The following Analysis Engines are included:
Designed for batch analysis, where hundreds or thousands of these devices must be analyzed simultaneously to determine their potential for causing damage to the pipe network when these devices are opened or closed. WIPSAT Standalone is limited to analyzing EPANET files, specifically .INP files. Up to 5150 pipes can be analyzed (.INP files do not allow the modeling of hydrants or simple on-off valves, so pipes are selected by the user which contain these devices). The full-priced WIPSAT software is designed to analyze KYPipe-format .p2k files: KYPipe allows the inclusion of hydrants and simple on-off valves as nodes, so specific codes can be selected for analysis instead of selecting the pipes that contain them.
3. The Demo is enabled for 90 days. Users wishing to reauthorize the Demo may do so by request, by emailing [email protected] . We ask that if you are doing professional work, please purchase a license instead of making successive Demo reauthorization requests.
4. Data import features are not included (the normally-priced software can import from, and export to, Microsoft Excel, AutoCad, Google Earth, and EPA (.INP) formats).
