For nearly half a century, we have walked beside Kenya's wildlife – watching over elephants and rhinos, rescuing and raising orphaned infants left behind when tragedy strikes, and giving these calves a second chance at life in the wild when grown. Alone, without milk or family, no orphaned infant elephant or rhino can survive. For more than fifty years, we have offered these innocent calves a surrogate family when they need it most. From thousands of miles away, supporters across the UK have become an essential part of these orphans’ extended family, helping us raise over 320 young elephants and rhinos. Together, we ensure each one receives the love and protection they need to grow strong. It truly is a family that spans continents.
