No membership card is required to participate in the program. You can view your progress at any time in your member profile. To ensure your purchases count toward your progress, sign in to your account when shopping online or provide the phone number associated with your account at checkout in store. Eligible pre-tax purchases are accumulated toward your annual purchase total. Shipping fees, service fees, SAIL gift cards, and hunting and fishing licences are excluded.
Your coupons are sent by email and are also available at any time in your member profile. Coupons earned through a tier upgrade are valid for one year from the date they are received, while the birthday coupon is valid for 30 days.
Discount codes earned through a tier upgrade or as a welcome offer are valid for 12 months from the date they are received. The birthday offer is valid for 30 days from receipt. Surprise discount codes sent by email have a limited validity period: refer to the details provided in the email.
Communications are sent through your customer account and by email. They may include notifications about your progress (such as tier upgrades), discount codes, as well as exclusive offers and benefits related to the program. By signing up, you will automatically be subscribed to SAIL promotional emails. However, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of emails and adjusting your preferences in the preference centre. You will still receive essential Explore+ program communications.
Eligible purchases are accumulated annually, from April 12 to April 11 of the following year. The program resets every April 12: your total purchase amount returns to zero and you return to Level 1 – Novice. This allows you to earn rewards again at each level, such as 15% discounts.
No. Only purchases made after joining the Explore+ program are included in your annual purchase total. Eligible purchases are accumulated annually from April 12 to April 11 of the following year.
Level 3 members must contact Customer Service to receive a free return shipping label. Please note that the return amount is deducted from your annual total: if it falls below $900, you will move down to Level 2 and will no longer be eligible for free returns.

Yes. To keep a record of your transactions for more than three months, you must be a member of the Explore+ program. SAIL retains members’ purchase history for up to three years, in accordance with its privacy policy.
Yes. Returned amounts are deducted from your annual purchase total. If your total falls below your current tier threshold, you will move down to the previous level until you reach the required amount again.
No. You must sign up on your own device via our website. In store, our team can assist you if needed. For faster service, we recommend signing up before reaching the checkout, as your account will already be active.
No. You can sign up using either a Shop account or your email address. The Shop account option is available for customers who already use Shopify services.
