After the start of a full-scale invasion, I saw in my personal account that the volume had fallen by more than 10 times. Our profile was in Ukraine, so everything stopped on February 24th. We started looking for ways to upgrade traffic.
First of all, we started to rework the entire “backend”, which was responsible for lead routing. On the basis of an existing landing page, we copied and created new regions. The first region was the Philippines. Why the Philippines? Everything is simple. We had a landing page, so we decided to start with it!
So the basis of our monetization is based on the processing of leads; it is very important to find exactly that region where there will be very cheap SMS. The choice fell on Asia . Because in other regions, clicks are much more expensive, and we needed to recover quickly enough. We found the gate with the lowest CPC and analyzed what messenger the lead uses.
First of all, you need to understand how exactly you can search for leads. To do this, you need to figure out where your target audience is. Therefore, based on this data, we have identified traffic channels. It is important to understand that a large percentage of residents (90%) speak English, which means you do not need a translator. Most Filipinos use Messenger, with Viber coming in second. Therefore, it makes sense to pour on FB Messenger.

Traffic here is very cheap, but we ran into a problem – Google does not allow us to show ads in Senegalese, and here, unlike the Philippines, not a lot of people speak English. Therefore, we were saved by Facebook Ads, where it was possible to freely insert creatives in any language. This region is perfect for small budgets.

Vietnam does not use Google, so there is no point in looking for Vietnamese there. Their counterpart to Google is Coccoc. That is where you need to pour traffic first of all. Here you should also use the native language of the region because knowledge of English is at a rather low level here. We highly recommend using translators. Instead of Telegram, the Vietnamese use Zalo, but there are some nuances with registration.

This is a fairly promising and interesting region for affiliates who want to enter the international market. But there are a lot of tests to be done here. Spanish should be used because the vast majority know it.

The region is very promising. There is a “+” – everyone knows Russian, and you don’t have to spend money on translators. The audience itself is very similar to the Ukrainian one, so for those who pour traffic into the Ukraine region, the transition will be simple and comfortable. The only feature – the main messenger for the Kazakhs is WhatsApp.
An insider from SD: It makes sense to pour traffic via SMS through a legal entity. It will be cheaper.
