We currently offer access to a range of grants for eligible R&D activities that meet qualifying criteria. Your R&D project can cover a new and novel product or service development, investigate process improvements, solve problems in an innovative manner or undertake a technical feasibility study.

An example of the available grants is the ' New to R&D Grant' aimed at supporting improvements in R&D knowledge and skills for those building an in-house R&D capability. There is 40% co-funding for R&D activities that is provided in conjunction with capability development support to increase your R&D effectiveness. The Taranaki Applied Innovation Centre is designed to connect, enable, develop, and accelerate the science and technology sector in Taranaki through the establishment of a dedicated science hub. This strategic project was initially led by Venture Taranaki, and has now transitioned to a private entity.
