PCBgogo Free Online Gerber Viewer

PCBgogo Free Online Gerber Viewer

PCBgogo provides a free online Gerber & PCB viewer to preview Gerber, ODB++, and Excellon drill files before production. No login required. In just three steps, you can view PCB layers, trace widths, clearances, dimensions, and drill holes directly in your browser. Once your design checks out, submit your files for a DFM check and get an instant PCB or PCBA quote.

Export Gerber & Excellon drill files from your PCB design tool. Zip the full set of layer files into one package.

Select the ZIP archive from your device and upload it to the online Gerber file viewer. Once processed, your PCB files and available layers will appear in the viewing window.

Turn individual layers on or off, zoom in on detailed areas, and switch between the top and bottom views. Review the copper, solder mask, silkscreen, and drill layers to confirm that your files are displayed as expected.

Review your PCB files in online Gerber file viewer, then use the same file package to request a DFM review and an instant PCB or PCBA quote. Our engineering team is available to help with file format questions and potential manufacturing concerns before you place your order.

In the field of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), numerous factors collectively determine their final cost. Among these, copper foil thickness holds a significant position, as it not only affects the performance of PCBs but also has an impact on their prices. How Copper Foil Thickness Affects PCB PricesIn Terms of Material CostsAs a fundamental material for PCBs, copper directly influences costs. Thicker copper foils naturally require more raw materials. Standard copper foil thicknesses typically ra

Make sure all required copper, solder mask, silkscreen, and drill layers are present and displayed as expected. You should also check the layer orientation, drill alignment, text placement, and any details that could affect manufacturing.

Export the Gerber and Excellon drill files from your PCB design software, place them in a single ZIP archive, and upload the archive to PCBgogo’s online Gerber viewer. The available PCB layers will then appear in the viewing window. No installation is involved.

Usually the archive contains no recognisable Gerber layers, or contains two competing data sets at once. Package one production data set per upload and use your EDA tool's standard file extensions.

The Excellon drill file, the board outline layer, or both were left out of the archive. Re-export and confirm the ZIP includes drills and the mechanical outline.

We treat all design data strictly confidential. Your PCB files will never be shared with third parties. Temporary uploaded files are automatically purged after your session.

PCB assembly (PCBA) is the process of mounting and soldering electronic components onto a bare printed circuit board to turn it into a functional electronic product. A bare PCB is just copper traces on laminate. It does nothing until resistors, capacitors, ICs, and connectors are attached through solder paste printing, component placement, reflow or wave soldering, inspection, and electrical testing.I have worked with PCB assembly projects for years, helping engineers and businesses understand the process, choose the right assembly methods, and avoid common manufacturing issues. This guide walks through everything that happens between uploading your design files and receiving a tested, working board: the assembly methods, the step-by-step production flow, the files you need to prepare, service models, cost drivers, and what actually separates a reliable PCB assembly manufacturer from a risky one. What Is PCB Assembly? PCBA vs. Bare PCB FabricationPCB assembly and PCB fabrication are two...

PCB manufacturing is the process of turning circuit board design files into physical boards through a sequence of imaging, etching, lamination, drilling, plating, and finishing steps, followed by testing and inspection. A standard multilayer board passes through roughly 18 to 20 distinct production stages, and each one can affect yield, signal performance, and cost. Most guides on this topic stop at the process steps. That leaves out half of what engineers and sourcing teams actually search for: how the process changes for multilayer and HDI boards, what a fabrication capability sheet really tells you, and how to judge whether a PCB manufacturing company can build your design reliably. This guide covers all of it, from the CAM room to the shipping box.PCB Manufacturing vs Assembly: What Does the Process Really Include?PCB manufacturing is often used loosely to describe everything from bare board fabrication to fully assembled products. The distinction matters when you request quotes, be...

WHAT IS A PCB? A PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is a flat, non-conductive board designed to mechanically support electronic components and electrically connect them through etched copper pathways called traces. As the foundation of modern electronics, PCBs are used in almost every device, from simple consumer products like calculators to advanced systems in aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications. If you have ever wondered what powers your smartphone, laptop, or even your cars dashboard, the answer almost always involves a printed circuit board. Understanding PCB meaning is essential for anyone working in electronics, engineering, or product development. In this comprehensive guide, we break down what a circuit board is, how it works, what its made of, the different types available, how they are manufactured, and how to choose the right one for your project. Whether you are a student, hobbyist, engineer, or procurement manager, this article covers everything you need to kn...
