From his cot he commands his subjects, an increasingly frazzled looking mum and dad, demanding that his every whim be met, and graciously accepting the worship of all around, benevolently bestowing smiles and kisses in return.
The incongruity of the appearance of baby, an egg-like blob, and the extent of his power is very funny, as is his obliviousness to the unreasonableness of his demands. Kate Beaton was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, studied history and anthropology at Mount Allison University and worked in a museum before beginning her web comic Hark!
