The cover has a beautiful vivid yellow moon slice cut into it which tempting leads the reader into a following the moon as it waxes to a whole, shiny full moon that is so bright that no one can sleep.

Many Moons explores the different phases of the moon, from the new moon to a waning crescent, through beautiful, bright illustrations. Each spread features a specific phase of the moon, and compares it to different shapes, such as a cat's tail, a banana, and a brilliant smile.
Remi Courgeon is an illustrator based in France. Also a painter, his work has been the subject of several exhibitions in France and abroad.
