Secrecy is a big thing for super-heroes (ask Batman) and so far, the Heroes’ Alliance have been keeping the world safe and their identities unknown. But now all that has changed: evil Nicholas Knox has blown their cover and is working to destroy them forever, and take over the world (of course).
All that’s standing in the way is one normal eleven-year old, aka Murph Cooper, aka Kid Normal plus his very special friends. This series is hugely popular with readers, deservedly so, and it ends as it began – in style! There are bizarre baddies, lots of great gags, and some wonderfully witty put-downs.
Plus, more action than you could throw a comic book at. Adventures don’t come much faster, funnier or more feel-good. Don’t miss!
Looking for more clever, funny, super-hero adventure? David Solomons , Danny Wallace and Shane Hegarty are the authors for you.
Murph Cooper and the Super Zeroes are about to face their greatest challenge yet ... the general public! The Heroes' Alliance has operated in secret for decades, but that's all set to change. Super-smarmy ubervillain Nicholas Knox has a plan to become the planet's most powerful leader, and he's using the Heroes to do it.

He's revealed the existence of Heroes to the world at large, painting them as mad, bad and dangerous to know. With fear and suspicion of Capes growing amongst the public, Heroes are forced underground, making it harder than ever to do their duty and combat evil wherever they find it. And all the while Knox is reaping the rewards of their efforts ...
Can Kid Normal take down Knox and prove that superheroes aren't the enemy?
So funny, it's almost criminal - Independent
Outrageous capers for eight and up ... Amusingly surreal super-powers and a trust yourself message combine to strong effect with Erica Salcedo's entertaining, huge-eyed images - Guardian
An extraordinary tale about an ordinary boy in a world of heroes ... A fast-paced, humorous adventure with likeable heroes and a suitably ridiculous, evil villain - Times Educational Supplement
Greg James is the host of Radio 1's Drivetime show and the Official Chart. He is also a familiar face on TV, and in February he completed his #GREGATHLON - five triathlons in five different cities on five consecutive days - raising over GBP1,000,000 for Sport Relief. In 2014 he won Gold for 'Best Entertainment Show' at the last ever Radio Academy Awards, which arguably makes him the most entertaining radio presenter in perpetuity. Greg has no superpowers. In his spare time he enjoys the idea of having hobbies. But in reality, he's made all of them into work.
Chris Smith is an award-winning journalist and radio presenter, most frequently heard as the voice of Radio 1's Newsbeat as well as hosting shows on BBC Radio 5 Live. Chris enjoyed a previous, and glittering, literary career as the winner of the H.E. Bates Short Story Competition 1981 (under 10s section) with his tale Where Are the Brandy Snaps? Chris has no superpowers either. His hobbies include screen printing and self-effacement. Follow Chris Smith on Twitter here.
Together on Greg's show and in their weekly podcast, Chris and Greg are responsible for some of radio's most ludicrous games and characters, which genuinely wouldn't make any sense if we tried to explain them here ...
