A fabulous book. Granny Franny is a great character, every child would love a granny like her. She takes her grandchildren on a big red bus to see the sights of London for a birthday treat. As a granny myself, it reminded me of playing 'buses' with my own grandchildren when they were younger. Maybe the Big Red Bus could do future trips around some other places.
Big, bright illustrations and a story told in rhyme, makes this a really fun book to encourage children to make their own 'buses' and go on their own adventures.

This children's picture book is inspired by real life events when the author drove heritage buses around London's landmarks in her spare time in bertween producing TV programmes and coaching clients in presenation skills.
This is a book about the unbreakable bonds between grand parents and grand children. It's about being kind, tenacious, adventurous, brave, learning new things and team work. This first story introduces Granny Franny, her grand children Ronni and Jax and Thinkerbell the talking bus bell. It's the story of how Granny Franny first bought her bus and is the first in a series of adventures that takes everyone in the family on incredible adventures at home, overseas and maybe even to the moon.

"In my opinion, children’s books are mediums in which we, as adults, can connect with children and pass a message across in a way that they’ll appreciate its significance. That said, there should always be an essential lesson for children to learn while reading, and much to my delight, this book justified that requirement. I felt that children could learn a lot about resilience and not giving up, as portrayed by Granny Franny, in her efforts to overcome the obstacles she faced while returning with the bus. With this book, children can also develop the spirit of helping other people in their time of need. Additionally, another central piece of a children’s book is its ability to be understood by its readers. I figure the writer made a fantastic showing in such manner by including beautiful diagrams that make sure to get the thought of youngsters. The language of the writer was furthermore praiseworthy, as she utilized a casual composing style along with Thinkerbell’s comical inclination that makes certain to reverberate well with kids. I enjoyed reading it to my nephew. This book makes sure to take youngsters on an excursion through their minds. Inspired by her own experience of learning to be a bus driver, the author has created a lively and colourful story that is full of fun. The illustrations are a delight and even the font is bright and bold. It is lovely that the book was written during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the proceeds going to charity.
Granny Franny likes nothing better than taking her twin grandchildren, Jax and Ronni, on adventures so one day she decides that a bus trip would be perfect. Having bought her own bus, she learns how to drive it with the aid of the magical Thinkerbell but her lessons are not without hazards! Fortunately, although her bus becomes stuck in mud, she is able to contact her grandchildren via Busnet and receive help. The children enjoy a wonderful day in London celebrating their birthdays where they see the Queen and visit the Natural History Museum and the London Eye. This is a lovely story about twins, Jax and Roni and their Granny Franny. The illustrations are fantastic. They are very colourful and show how certain parts are very funny.
This is a lovely story about twins, Jax and Roni and their Granny Franny. Their birthday is coming up and they want to spend it with Granny on Sunday. Granny Franny decides it will be a very special birthday surprise for the twins. They try to guess but are no where near what she has planned. It takes a while but she gets what she wants but has a major problem. She can't drive. Tinkerbell helps teach her but she isn't a very good student. Granny Franny wants to give up but Tinkerbell won't let her. She does succeed, but rain, thunder and lightening cause some problems. They eventually need help. Fifi Fire Bell, the big red fire engine and Harry Horn, the big green tractor who are friends of Tinkerbells help them.... Read Full Review
