On their 300th birthday, aliens from a far away galaxy are allowed to spend a month in the body of a creature from Earth. Rescued from a storm by a little girl called Olive, Leonard (as she names him) realises he is miles away from the place where the collective energy of his fellow aliens -known as the hive- will pick him up at the end of his time on Earth. Leonard has to find a way of getting to Yellowstone or face staying on Earth for ever.

This is my review of My Life as a Cat . I really enjoyed it, it was amazing, my favourite bit was when Leonard jumped into to the river to save Olive from being swept away down the stream; I thought it is was very surprising as cats are meant to hate water. Before I read this book, I thought that aliens were horrible and cruel but this book made me realise that some aliens might actually be kind and caring.
