This being the Impossible Places, that’s a lot less simple and a lot more magical than it sounds, and the task will see Suzy sucked into a void storm, trapped at the bottom of the ocean - and almost eaten by a giant frog. PG Bell’s books overflow with invention and thrills and I defy anyone not to want to climb onboard with Suzy and her extraordinary friends. By the end of the story, our own world has been made just a bit more magical, and readers will feel that too as they close the book.

P.G. Bell is a native of south Wales, where he was raised on a diet of Greek mythology, ghost stories, and Doctor Who. He's had all sorts of jobs over the years, from lifeguard to roller coaster operator, but has always wanted to write stories. He lives in Wales with his wife Anna, and their two children.

A funny, exciting, adventure that you won’t be able to put down!
This book was a great mixture of adventure and and excitement! We join Suzy on another postal adventure, which starts with her trying to convince her parents to let her continue her role as a postie. She wanted them to see how safe it was, but things didn’t quite go to plan. Meeting her old friends, they are set with the difficult task of returning an overdue book, on what sounds like an impossible journey to the lost city of Hydroborea. I thought the story was creative, exciting and unique. I have read other books by P.G Bell and I love his writing style. The characters come alive in my imagination and I like how he mixes humour in with suspense.... Read Full Review
