The book is about a young, curious and clever girl, Cat whose father mysteriously disappeared a year and a half ago. Amazing and heart - warming book with plot twists you never expected coming.
Furious at the world around her, fourteen year-old Cat is facing the struggle of her dad being dead, her sister refusing to talk and her mum always being angry at her. One day, she gets a mysterious call from a person who claims to be her deceased dad's friend and unravels a trail of clues, the adventure which she goes on with the handsome boy next door.

This story is incredible in the way it entrances the reader and instantly surprises them with the unanticipated story line.
Hide and Secrets is a novel that is filled to the brim with unexpected twists and turns making it a very exciting and entertaining read. Cat, with the help of Tyler, must discover the mystifying blue fire diamond in order to save her family. After the presumed death of her father, Cat is expecting nothing but a dreary summer holiday, spending her time dressmaking in the barn.
