Small's Big Dream is the first picture book from Manjeet Mann, with artwork by exciting debut illustrator Amanda Quartey.
Manjeet Mann is the author of the Costa Children's Book Award winnier The Crossing and critically acclaimed and Carnegie-shortlisted Run, Rebel.
Manjeet Mann is a multi-award-winning author, playwright, screenwriter and actress. Her debut YA novel, Run Rebel , was shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal and won the CILIP Carnegie Shadowers’ Choice Award, along with several other accolades. Her second novel, The Crossing , won the Costa Children’s Book Award, among other honours, and was also shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal, the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and the YA Book Award. Manjeet also writes picture books, including Small’s Big Dream , which won the Readers’ Choice Award at the Diverse Book Awards. She adapted Run Rebel for the stage with Pilot Theatre, earning Best Production at the Off West End Stage Awards. Manjeet lives in Scotland.

Some great places in the text for interaction from the emerging readers too when they can shout out "Small!" and "Head down and feet on the ground!" Ethan loved the story of the Small girl with her Big dreams! He was captivated by the beautiful, brightly coloured illustrations and all the rainbows. His favourite part was when Small's dreams take her into outer space and she meets other people with Big dreams, like her!
