Ever popular duo Winnie the Witch and Wilbur return in a particularly high-spirited adventure. Wilbur causes all sorts of mischief in Winnie’s house, but unable to find her spectacles (readers will spot them on her head) Winnie can’t see the cause of the chaos and decides her home must be haunted.
Misreading the spell to put things right, she accidentally fills her house with ghosts! Fortunately a quick ‘Arbadacarba!’ sorts everything out. Korky Paul’s zany illustrations, which provide children with something different to spot at every reading, are the perfect foil for Valerie Thomas’s unfussy and engaging narrative and together this talented team create picture book magic.
This edition features an accompanying audio CD with the story and magical music and sound effects.
There are some unexplained happenings in Winnie and Wilbur's house. A smashed vase, collapsing curtains, and a shattered chandelier. Could it be haunted?
