A huge amount of sceptism went round the office about this series; until that was, we first had sight of the first four in the series, of which this is the second title. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the writing and the storylines. I’m sure it will be a success, not because the series is written by a celebrity but because it may encourage pony mad non-readers to start enjoying the reading experience.
If it does that, and I’m certain it will, then one should take one’s hat off to Katie for taking the time to create it.
Jess, Mel, Amber, Sam and Cara spend as much time as they can with their favourite ponies at Vicki's Riding School. Vicki decides to challenge them to a charity Treasure Hunt. But snooty Henrietta is also desperate to come first and when the girls find surprise treasure during the hunt, it looks like she might just do that.
