The author has even created some exciting new words to fit the story like “nexcited, jumbly wumbly, and joggly woggly” , which children will love saying out loud. These fun words add to the enjoyment of the story. They perfectly describe Ruby’s feelings and dancing moves. The themes running through the book are being honest about your feelings and fears, teaching yourself ways to cope better when feeling scared, and allowing others to help and support you.
Children will definitely enjoy listening to this positive, sweet story as well as the eye-catching pictures and delightful facial expressions of the main characters. Recommended for children from about three to five or six years old.
