Panda and Penguin are best friends . . . until they find the Thing. The Thing is exciting – it has a flashing screen and makes funny ringing noises – but only one of them can play with it at a time. The Thing comes between them, but is anything worth losing their friendship?

A first introduction to how technology can be exciting but needs to be used with care. Perfect for teaching children how to share, and that nothing ismore important than a good friend.
Zehra Hicks is an exciting new name in children's picture books. She has a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art from Northumbria University and completed a Book Illustration course at Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2009, the same year in which she was Highly Commended in the Macmillan Prize for Children's Picture Book Illustration. The Boy Who Hated Toothbrushes is her debut picture book.
Zehra has a professional background in design and her vibrant line and strong sense of composition mark her out from the crowd, making her a real one to watch. She lives in Epsom with her husband and their little boy.
