Leonie Lord studied illustration at Central St. Martin's College before becoming an editorial illustrator (whose clients included the Sunday Telegraph and the Guardian ) and, then, a picture book illustrator. Her books include The Dirty Great Dinosaur , written by Martin Waddell, and Ding Dong Gorilla , written by Michelle Robinson. She is also the author and illustrator of Super Duper Penguin Slide .
