On his very first day, a Shadowseeker - a mysterious and dangerous dark elf - surfaces, and Ben suspects the dark elves might be trying to capture him again in an effort to flush out his parents. When Ben renews his own search for his parents, he soon discovers they are closing in on a piece of Queen Elizabeth's legendary armour - the only weapon strong enough to defeat the dark elf king once and for all - but it is guarded by something even more deadly than a Shadowseeker.
A race against time ensues, with Ben desperate to warn his parents they're walking into a death-trap, while somehow completing the first level of his apprenticeship and securing his place at the Royal Institute of Magic.

Victor Kloss was born in 1980 and lived his first five years in London, before moving to a small town in West Sussex. By day he built websites, by night he wrote (or tried to). His love for Children's Fantasy stemmed from Enid Blyton, Tolkien, and recently, JK Rowling.
His hobbies included football, golf, reading and taking walks with his wife and daughter.

A brilliant follow on story, full of adventure, mystery and magic.
I enjoyed the second book in this magical series just as much as the first one. Ben and Charlie begin their apprenticeship at the Royal Institute of Magic, where they meet a Shadowseeker (a dark elf) in the lift on their first day. Ben, Charlie and Natalie must protect a piece of Elizabeth's amour which has extraordinary power from the dark elves at the same time as passing their first grade exams.
