A delightful, fun-filled read.
What a delightful seasonal read for pre-school aged children – not specifically Christmassy (although it would make a lovely treat for under the tree!) but the wintry scenes are perfect for this time of year. Although the written story (with the rhyming sentences young children love) is quite short, each page is full of such beautiful illustrations, all of which lend themselves to opening up discussions about what else might be happening to Iggy and his Yeti friends as they embark on their perilous adventures to prove that Yetis DO exist! The fact that the illustrations are so detailed mean that each time this story is read there will always be new things to discover and, of course, being able to follow the centrefold map is something most children will enjoy....
