“Why did I think it was a good idea to come away to a glass house in the woods with three people I suspect of murdering their best friend?” So shares aspiring journalist Myra near the arresting opening of Ravena Guron’s Your Murder Next — a twisting murder mystery that sizzles with secrets, envy, revenge, backstabbing rich kids, and one girl’s relentless pursuit of the truth.
After her devotion to exposing injustice saw Myra fall out with her best friend, she’s trying to make a fresh start at a new school, and desperate to work on the student newspaper, even if that means having to get involved with a clique of self-entitled rich kids. When the most popular girl in school is found dead in the walk-in freezer of her parents’ restaurant, Myra’s instincts tell her this was no accident: it was murder.
As she starts to piece together clues, Myra receives a death threat and, in the name of investigative journalism, goes to a glass house in the woods with the very people she suspects of murder. When more deaths follow and she’s held up at gunpoint by a boy who claims to have killed the killer, Myra must hold her nerve in order to remain true to her journalistic integrity, and save her skin.
The multi-timeframe structure works like a dream, adding layers of suspense as themes of class privilege, snobbery, and envy play out through Myra’s journey to realising “how much better it is to have someone by your side”.
From the bestseling author of This Book Kills comes a deadly new YA thriler of murder, mystery and mind-blowing twists. Perfect for fans of Holly Jackson and Karen M. McManus.

When the most popular girl at Myra's new school is found frozen to death in a walk-in chiller, wannabe journalist Myra is sure of two things:
1. Scarlett was murdered. 2. One of Scarlett's friends is to blame.

Ravena Guron is the bestselling author of YA thrillers This Book Kills , Catch Your Death and Mondays Are Murder .
Growing up, Ravena always read the last page of books first, but discovering Agatha Christie in her early teens stopped that habit, igniting a love of twisty murder mysteries with jaw-dropping endings the reader never saw coming. A born and bred Londoner, she is a lawyer with a degree in biochemistry, and uses the knowledge she's gained to plot perfect murders (only for her books, of course).
Ravena's bestselling YA thrillers have been shortlisted for the YA Book Prize, the British Book Awards' Children's Fiction Book of the Year and many more.

This book was exciting and full of surprises, with lots of unexpected murders and a big twist. The creepy glass house scene was amazing. One of my favourite books ever.
This book was amazingly well thought out and a beautiful piece to read. I loved how the number of murders kept increasing when you least expected it, which made it incredibly suspenseful.
Anyone could have murdered Scarlett, but I never would have guessed who it was in the end! The plot twist was truly wondrous and completely unexpected. One of my favourite moments was when they arrived at the glass house and found the doll frozen in ice inside a drawer, with blood-red water running from the tap - it was chilling.
The book is a clear sign of a very clever writer who becomes the character and describes scenes vividly. It has become one of my most treasured books.... Read Full Review

A suspenseful story that mirrors the chaos of life with multiple twists and turns. I would 100% recommend reading it.
This book had themes of true friendship, death, deception, threat and acknowledging the past. I liked how well written the book was and how the protagonist found a loyal friend. In my opinion, the main character was very inspiring, as she was very passionate about journalism and she even continued to pursue this passion, when it was hard. She managed to solve a mystery, whilst also showing herself to be brave and courageous – beautiful personality traits, to be admired. This book would be great for those who love thrillers and murder mysteries, as there was lot of suspense and tension in the plot. I think that the written style of the book was perfect, as it captured the very real struggles of teenagers in their lives, together with the joy that a lifelong friend can bring during trouble....
