However, the writing itself is more challenging than most series aimed at this age. However, at that age most girls still absolutely love all things pink, glittery and if it involves fairies then even better. Glitterwings Academy is just that. Readers will follow the delightful and at times naughty fairy, Twink, and her friends as they progress up through Glitterwings Academy, the boarding school of boarding schools for fairies.

Titania Woods is the pen-name for Lee Weatherly. Lee is a respected author of teen fiction, including the novels Child X and Missing Abby and is the winner of the Sheffield Teen Book Award. Lee was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and now lives in Hampshire. She is the author of Glitterwings , a very glittery fairy school series, perfect for the 7-9 age-range.
