A little girl finds the courage to stand up to a bully with the help of a clever plan. About to become lunch for Lion, Sarah has to think fast to save herself. What can she do in the jungle that no other animal can? Sarah can draw and soon she’s made all the animals happy with her pictures. Except for Lion. Lion hates the way he looks cross and angry in Sarah’s picture.
But the picture doesn’t lie and all the other animals tell Lion so. Lion must change his ways to get a better picture of himself. And he does! Happiness all round.

Fiona Tierney, author of the enchanting picture book Lion's Lunch , was born in Dublin and apart from a year in Australia has lived there all her life. Fiona spent many years juggling four children and a busy job before she decided to have a go at writing stories for children.
Her first book Look What Blew into the Zoo was published in 2006 and recommended by Ireland's largest book club Tubridy Show/Barry's Tea Book Club in 2007. This was followed up by the sequel Peek at the Week in the Zoo , published in 2007.
