One day, when Ellie gets completely fed up with trying to tame her wild and colourful hair, she storms out of her treehouse to search the world on her scooter, looking for someone with similar hair. Oscar goes along for the ride. Having had no success (after going around the world 4 times!), Ellie and Oscar get lost.
Fortunately their friends rescue the duo after spotting Ellie's massive and colourful hair from high up in a helicopter. Ellie learns to love her hair and to be happy to be different, after all, without her hair she would never have been rescued!
Jerome Keane is an Art Director for a London advertising firm. His wife, Susana de Dios, is an illustrator and magazine Art Director. They have one daughter, Ellie, and live in west London.
