Kazuno Kohara's distinctive lino-cut illustrations and limited colour palette provide the perfect counterpart to her spare, witty storytelling in this stylish new picture book - her first was Haunted House - with great child appeal.

Kazuno Kohara grew up in Japan and came to the UK as a student, where she studied for an MA in printmaking at Anglia Ruskin University, graduating in 2007. The Haunted House , Kazuno's first book, drew great critical acclaim for its distinctive lino-cut design and was voted one of the Best Illustrated Children's Books by the New York Times in 2008. Her second book, Jack Frost , was published in October 2009. Kazuno currently lives in Cambridge.
