The Scariest Monster in the World is a humorous, beautifully illustrated tale which all young readers will enjoy. Scary monster is very scary and his fur is wild and weird. His teeth were green and mossy because he never, ever brushed them. All the other animals in the forest were terrified of the monster, and scurried away whenever they saw him coming.
But one day, the very scary monster started to hiccup. He tried everything he could, but the hiccups would not go away! In the end, the monster had no choice but to turn to the other animals in the forest for help. Together, they come up with an ingenious plan to get rid of those pesky hiccups.

Lee Weatherly was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and now lives in Hampshire with her husband Pete and a large cat called Bernard. Lee writes children's fiction for all different ages, and especially loves stories about magic. Lee won the Sheffield Children's Book Award in 2003 for her novel Child X .
