In 2026, the UK will celebrate the National Year of Reading - a collective call to put reading back at the heart of our lives. Our communities. Our culture. Under the banner GO ALL IN, the campaign champions reading for pleasure as something joyful, inclusive and deeply human.
At LoveReading, LoveReading4Kids and LoveReading4Schools, this is a mission we’ve always shared. We exist to help people discover books they love. And to ensure that access to those books isn’t shaped by postcode or circumstance.
Through our bookstore with social purpose, every book bought gives back to schools, turning everyday book buying into equitable access to books. Books where they’re needed the most.
The features in this series explore the core themes of the Year of Reading: from reading for pleasure and access, to modern formats, voice, community and collective action. Together, they reflect what we believe to be true: all reading counts, access matters, and shared effort delivers lasting impact.
