McCreery Aviation, a long-time NATA member and family-owned FBO located at McAllen International Airport (MFE) in McAllen, Texas, is celebrating 80 years of continuous operations . Founded in 1946 by J.F. “Mac” McCreery as a small flight school operating from a grass strip runway, the company has grown into a full-service aviation business offering aircraft fueling, maintenance, parts, avionics sales and repair, aircraft charter, and flight training. Today, under the leadership of President Bob McCreery, the company operates more than 165,000 square feet of operational space, including a revamped terminal building and 13 storage and executive hangars.
McCreery credits the company’s success to the hard work and dedication of its 48 employees and the family-style customer experience that has remained central to the business for eight decades. The FBO’s location near the southern U.S. border, on-field U.S. Customs access, and bilingual team support efficient service for customers traveling throughout the region and from Mexico.
