We do not support candidates or political parties, although we do study and sometimes support ballot issues. All individuals who join automatically become members of the League of Women Voters of Missouri and the League of Women Voters of the United States.

The League of Women Voters of St. Louis believes that a public forum is one of the best ways for voters to learn about candidates or ballot measures. Public forums ensure that citizens have access to their candidates (or issue proponents and detractors), are able to ask questions and get real time answers, and ensure information is moderated to stay fact-based and issue-focused.
