Dusty Motors Shock Covers for the Traxxas X-Maxx Shock absorber cover is included into the package. Shock absorber cover comes in one long piece, so it could be cut into lengths that particular shock absorbers require. Cover is made from elastic material in order to fit shock absorbers of different diameters. One included length of a cover will be enough for 4-8 shock absorbers, depending on a length of one.

There are really good and hopefully will last - looking on Youtube I found a number of different ways fo fitting them but once I got the one that I felt comfortable with they look really good and well made. Excellent product for your Xmaxx 8s and protects dust and dirt from entering the shocks.
nice snug fit for the xmaxx shock, and feel good quality
Not thick enough , after two uses already ripped threw due to normal xmaxx use , after 3 use threw away Poor quality marterial
very easy install and they look great too keeping the dirt and dust from your shocks so the seals will last longer and you dont have to strip them down all the time.
Nice snug fit. Some small cable ties for top and bottom would have been nice, but hey, otherwise ok
