Got this as an upgrade to my FTX DR8, quite new to the hobby so didn't want to go crazy with a new servo, this one works well, super easy to install.
Plenty of speed and torque, have one in both my Slash 4x4 and FTX Kanyon, they are both perfect!
So fast on response and amazing quality have run this is so many of my cars
This is a great and sturdy servo. It packs 21KG of torque and easily steers my car a 1:10 ultra 4 desert buggy. It has full metal gears and outer casing comes with a range of plastic fittings and arms to fit a number of applications. I paired ,mine with a set of aluminium servo mounts and that thing is toight!
A nice smooth decent torque servo for the price, seems solid, the only thing I would say is dependant upon the application I would advice buying a metal servo horn straight off the mark, don't even fir the plastic ones as I went out with my rr10 bomber I just built for a first run and went through 3 plastic 25T servo horns. Other than that good bit of kit, very well priced in the range. I bought 2, 1 for the RR10 bomber and one for my scx10ii
Really hard not to like this servo that so far has been hammered and continues to behave in a predictable fashion.
