Futuristic styling matched to a new electric chassis platform make the Hyper SS roller the ideal choice for new entrants to the expanding electric 1/8th buggy scene. This affordable, competitively priced chassis retains many of the new SS chassis and suspension features ready to accept your choice of electronics.
The Hyper SS EP chassis can accommodate most of todays current crop of high performance brushless motors, speed controllers and LiPo batteries. The moulded battery tray features three quick release velcro straps perfect for 2S, 3S and 4S packs and also a raised platform to mount your esc off the chassis avoiding the chance of damaging chassis slaps off jumps. The receiver is protected in a custom designed sealed box that features a servo housing mount for easy removal of electronics.
3-differential driveline features a steel centre spur gear and 16T steel pinion as standard, ready to handle the power of todays brushless motors. The aluminium adjustable motor mount allows for a wide range of possible ratios to suit popular motors and track sizes.
Colour coded anodised aluminium chassis parts feature throughout along with HoBao's customary high quality suspension mouldings. Suspension is fully adjustable with ride-height, droop, tow-in and camber all available for fine tuning. The newly designed front C-Hub suspension assembly provides a smoother drive and 17mm big bore shocks soak up all that is in their path and provide the perfect race chassis at the fraction of the cost of other top line brands.

I started this hobby with a reck of a car of ebay. It nearly put me off the hobby, but I'm glad to say after saving up for this baby that I'm well and truly an rc'er :) :). On 4s its quite tame, but taking it up to 6s soon!! :). So durable, amazing Hobao quality. Brilliant buggy for bashing or racing! Thoroughly reccomend! Better than Traxxas and best value chassis out there!! PEACE OUT :)

On opening the box i had a few concerns BUT now i have ran say 20/30 4s and 6s yes 6s packs throw it i'm over the moon ..The dogbones look weak but trust me there not the steering is spot on no slop to have to deal with and as for the shocks the best i've come across out the box to date !!. All in all a fantastic buggy well built and designed.. I'm running a 2200kv motor and a 150a ESC with a 11kg servo using a 19t pinion and its a spot on set up. So far a have broke nothing Top marks !!
This is sutch an awesome car. Very good handling , and almost mindblowing acceleration. I´ve fittet mine with an castle mamba monster , 4cell lipo, great great fun. I have only good things to say about this car. A good bye for the money if you have the electrical lying in advance
