Developed on the back of the latest SS Buggy platform the SSTe features the latest suspension design for improved traction and stability. Reduced weight over its predecessor provides the SSTe with improved acceleration for better speed and jumping. Each long throw suspension arm is handled by anti-roll bars and the latest generation 17mm big bore oil filled shock absorbers that feature threaded bodies for fine spring tension tuning. Optimized steering block and hub carrier provide better steering and rough track handling. Good budget roller,looks quite sturdy but I did bend the rear centre dogbone within 5 minutes of moderate bashing,I think the hop up billet chassis braces are a must but at £50 a pair I think I'll make my own.other than that it held up pretty well.
What can I say..... fun beyond belief! Absolutely awesome roller and a blank canvas for you're own specs! The standard wheels popped on 4s but that could be down to my old hpi tyre glue that was laying around for a while but other than that fantastic roller for the money!
A great quality well made kit at a good price. Added a Max 8 combo with a set of bad lands to mine. Has loads of steering and jumps for miles. A serious alternative to the Arma Kraton!
Tried on both 4s & 6s absolutely awesome value for money, as standard shocks are too soft, but easily sorted with thicker oils and maybe some stiffer springs!
