When racing on a loamy or top soil track surface the inside of the Slash chassis can become loaded with dirt or debris which creates extra weight. With the JConcepts over-tray these worries are minimized with the simple and functional over-tray. Fitting nicely under the body; the JConcepts over-tray hugs the outside dimension of the Slash chassis protecting the inside from unwanted excess dirt and debris build-up during racing conditions. The over-tray fits snug around the entire chassis structure while being attached in the front with hook and loop tape (or Velcro if you prefer) for easy access. The over-tray is built with extra height and rake to provide extra room for various electrical and battery configurations The back-side of the lovers can be cut out for air to escape. Obviously holes can be added anywhere to release air but it adds to the stuffiness inside the over-tray. The over-trays are designed for the stock Traxxas power and electric or updated systems with compatible power.

Not liking this over-tray too much. Doesn't let enough air in so both the ESC and motor can get very hot. Make sure to make plenty of ventilation holes in the over-tray to correct the heat issues.
The over-tray works really well in keeping the electronics clean and dry. Only issue is that it does causes heat to build up due to poor ventilation.
Does it job perfectly! Easy to trim and well worth the money. Keep everything out from your chassis making cleaning much quicker! I run 3s and have not had a thermal yet with this on, although I do run the traxxas esc fan. Velcro supplied aint great, so best to get some from local hardware shop
