These are designed to fit the STOCK PLASTIC HUBS. They bottom out at the top and dig in for a fine tight adjustment.
These pillar ball nuts are made using 6061-t6 aluminum. A natural finish. The kit comes with Delrin bushing to give you a set and forget fit.
The nuts are designed to allow you a very easy start to avoid cross threading.
The nuts will screw about 3/4 in and then start to tighten up. As it gets close the the bottom it will snug down so the nuts will not back out.
The proper setting is screw them down until the pillow ball locks down, then back out 1/8 of a turn. This should allow the pillow ball to float freely with no end play.
It will get snug at as you get close to the lock down position.
It is also advised that you purchase pn. 3327 (pillow ball wrench)
