Cap is to be tightened hand tight + 1/8 turn, no more, or you will damage the seal.
This shock cap allows you to build an (emulsion style) zero rebound shock, coupled with the 16mm O-ring Shock pistons we offer (1133 pistons) helps with handling and a more stable landing off jumps.
I have included pictures of the easy dremel mod to the stock shock cap cover if you choose to use your stock standoffs and hide these beautiful caps.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND OUR M2C 6762 SHOCK STANDOFFS (bushings and washers for this upgrade are included with the caps).
M2C 1133 SHOCK PISTONS:
We have tried to duplicate the stock oils and pack. The oils could change due to the temperature change of your region.
Always start with stock oils and adjust from there. Its really personal preference on how the truck handles.
Slots go down to slow rebound.(recommended)
