The Maverick Strada range gets a totally new look! The popular 1/10th scale range of Strada vehicles from Maverick have just been updated with new body designs and more! The 4WD drivetrain uses efficient ball bearings throughout to give drivers maximum runtime and efficiency, and features a molded gear cover to keep dirt and debris away from the gears. Front and rear gear differentials easily transfer the motor's power to durable driveshafts and finally to the pre-mounted tires at all four corners.

The Strada range all feature dual-wishbone independent suspension front and rear, with reliable C-hub style front hubs and extra-strong single-piece rear hubs. The powerful MS-22 servo controls the steering through a dual-point steering system that features an integrated servo saver to protect the servo against crash damage. New! New for all the Maverick Strada vehicles are the gold-colored aluminium parts. Motor heatsink, chassis top plate, shock mounts and shock caps for the oil-filled shock absorbers. These all add an extra bit of color and style to the chassis, just to make it look even better than before Finishing off every Maverick Strada car or truck is a fully detailed, completely painted and stickered body with an all-new design that looks amazing!
Strada DT Off-Road Desert Truck The Strada DT 4WD Desert Truck features a fully enclosed roll cage with cool integrated body panels painted that not only looks amazing, it provides additional protection for the chassis components.

I cant stress how good this little car is for the money. Bought it for my 5 year old, I converted it from nimh to 2s Lipo, using a battery tester alarm instead of a low voltage cut off, as it'll otherwise all work. Run it for a year and a half, many many battery cycles and the only failure so far was the motor of all things, which was cheap and relatively easy to replace - and that may have been down to running it on Lipo. Nothing else has broken, so compared to other often recommended starter cars, I would say this is very robust. Fine its not as fast as my Hobao Hyper VS, but it's still really fun to drive, especially if you can find a loose/gravel type surface to run it on. I see other cars getting recommended as starter cars but I think this one is ideal. My only gripe with it, is that it's a faff to get the bodyshell off because the clips are in awkward places, and you have to lift off the bonnet and pivot the whole thing over, but really thats a minor thing.
